A Colorful Sunrise

July 30, 2008

Photo Shot Yesterday, 5:32 am

Well, First of all, this photo is not manipulated or enhanced. The sky is as beautiful as it is! I always feature photos of stunning sunsets sighted by my lenses inside Cavite and this is the first time I have featured a marvelous sunrise. I got this shot just before I departed at home to be driven by my Dad to school for the recollection. I just love the explosion of colors but very organized indeed to come up with this sight!

I am just using a dial-up connection right now. though very slow, it's good enough. I would like to congratulate all the people behind the SQL Seminar this afternoon! And I would like to greet one of the best proffesors I've had, (not a trace of kidding) Ms. Sherry Bautista. If you are reading this Ma'am, I hope you come back here often! It's going to be a big day for me tomorrow! Mabuhay and God Bless!

Sinag Car

DSC07202

Photo Shot at July 24, 2008

This is the Sinag Solar Powered Car. It has been on Display at College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology Exhibit Hall, De La Salle University - Dasmariñas. It was a very good sight to see because it is the first time for us to see such a Solar Car. The SINAG, based in De La Salle University-Manila in the Philippines, (Filipino for "sunray") is the first Philippine Solar-Powered Race Car. It is the first entry of the Philippines to the World Solar Challenge. To read the rest of the wikipedia entry about the Sinag Car, Click on the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SINAG

Until now, there has been no Internet Connection in our house and people have been gaga over the Globelines outlets throughout Cavite. Our nearest branch, SM Dasmariñas receives roughly a hundred complaints everyday including follow-ups! We are so pissed of, of course, me also, because I get the feeling of shame to everyone who tends to visit my blog once in a while but then all you see was my last post. I really am sorry but the best thing I have to say is thank you very much because your comments and appearances helps me to have hope that one day, I can go back to the usual DAILY Posting.

I am now currently here at the internet cafe because tomorrow we would held our schools annual recollection. I'm sure it would be fun. I hope we have a safe trip and a very enjoyable recollection because it would be the last. Next year, as Seniors, what we will be having is the final retreat before we go up the stage and palm our diplomas! Oh my! Just thinking about it makes me tear up!

And sorry to those that posted comments on my last two posts that I haven't replied to. I'm sure you understand my situation right now. And by the way, Thanks to Kathleen Lumandas, again, for generously lending me her camera and sending the photos to me! God Bless us all!

University Lagoon

dJuly 13, 2008

Photo Shot last friday, July 11, 2008.

This is our School Lagoon. It is man-made and is not just an ornament but it also serves as a Laboratory for Agri-Business Student at De La Salle University - Dasmariñas. It was shown in various movies and telenovelas shot at our University. It gives the balance to the beautiful trees and other ecological creatures inside the University.

First of all, I am sooo sorry for the 10-day absence! I really appreciate all of the comments you left on my last post. I have read them all and I feel so thankful. Internet connections here in the Philippines, including mine and my cousin's, are temporarily unavailable due to the storm that broke several wires. Only for Globe Telecom users.

Another factor that I haven't posted is that this week was one of the most hectic weeks throughout my college life! We struggle to pass several requirements, answer tests and quizzes and accomplish lot of handwritten assignments so as I went home from school everyday, I haven't got the chance to go to the nearest net shop.

So I hope that connections would be available as soon as possible so that I may continue to serve you the things that would happen in and around Cavite. And, please wish me luck and Blessings so that I can not just pass all of the Preliminary examinations that would be held this week, but also get high scores so that I can be again a part of the coveted Dean's Lister's! God BLess us all and may we have a great week ahead! Mabuhay from the Philippines!

Rain just before it poured

July 4, 2008

Photo Shot at 16:58

First of all, thank you so much to my friend Ilyn for reminding me earlier before we went home that today is Skywatch Friday. I really have a diminishing memory (joke).

This is the fountain found on the middle of our Colonial Plaza together with the church, library and the museum (Some I have featured before). it was built just a semester ago but it starts to moss up. I think it is really supposed to moss up to give the colonial effect to it!

I have currently a problem with our broadband/dsl connection. So right now, I am just using my dad's phone as a modem so I have already spent half an hour now just uploading the photo and typing these but well, It's here!

I would like to greet my orgmates from the LaSallian Computer Society and my classmates a happy weekend! And also, YOU! the one reading this post deserves all the blessings, God Bless you!

If you wish to see the other participants to Skywatch Friday, just click on the link to http://www.womtig.blogspot.com/ and kindly drop a comment or two and they would really appreciate just as I will if you would to this post! again Have a splendid weekend!

July Theme - "No" Signs

July 2, 2008

Photo Shot Two weeks ago.

This is a shot on our Physics Laboratory at De La Salle University - Dasmariñas. We have our Laboratory classes every Thursday from 4 pm till 7 in the evening. It's quite hard but our Laboratory Teacher makes it reachable for us.

First of all, I am really sorry for the late Theme Day post. I just forgot that yesterday was Theme Day due to my very harsh Junior-College experiences. Loads and Loads of work plus very tiring trips from school and home. I would want to thank mirage of Vienna Daily Photo for posting her comment on my last post that reminded me of theme day! So Luckily, It was still July 1st in other parts of the world this morning so I got the chance to get the Link Codes earlier before I rushed to school.

To Tentay, I'm sorry I have replied late to your photos but I have edited it and sent it already just earlier. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Also. sorry if ever my comment to your blogs would be absent these next days. After these, I would be engaged to so many homeworks and researches again but please leave your comments. It will be very much appreciated!

By the way here are the links to the other participants to July Theme Day! It's always better late than never so please pay a visit to this great daily photo blogs.Click here to view thumbnails for all participants
