This view is very unreal to the eyes of somebody who goes to the Public Market prior to the Community Quarantine. Public markets, like this on the photo from General Trias, have different regulations from maintenance of social distances, to regulations such as 50 shoppers at a time across the whole market area. There's a waiting queue with markers to ensure social distancing and 30 minutes is given to every batch of 50 shoppers to commence their shopping.

Please stay safe on these troubling times and make sure to follow directives that you think can save not just your life but of the whole community. For shoppers, practice utmost sanitation to yourself one's you go home and to the items and essentials you bought before storing them to get rid of traces of the virus and other harmful bacteria.

Nearly Empty Public Market, General Trias

A few hours ago, President Duterte delivered another speech about the COVID situation. One remarkable and important part of his speech was the "shoot to kill" encouragement he gave to the authorities and enforcers for lock-down violators. He also warns against discrimination and harassment of health workers by the authorities that he gave power himself. What can you say about this?
