Our Search for Peace

My Garden, General Trias

This times require all of us to be safe not just physically but also mentally. Mental safety and security is very hard to find in situations like these especially when everything seems so unsure as to how this will be put to an end. I myself is a victim of overthinking and excessive worrying that even takes a toll on my body. Glad I thought about fixing a portion of our Garden for myself. The project ran for three days and now I have a place of peace which really helps me to relax and stay away from worries for a portion of my day.

Stay Safe everyone. If you wish to read more about my battle with overthinking and how this Garden project helped me, I am linking my post on my personal blog below. Just click on the link and hope you enjoy your visit to my Blog!

  3. Oh, what a very beautiful garden!
Yes, I read you, dear friend. I often wake at night with a pounding heart due to worrying.
We have a little balcony, but the kids have no respect in the garden in front, they scream their souls out, over hours, and the parents say not a thing.
We had our own garden with no one around, yet I was never allowed to yell or scream. Times are a changing. Even with closed windows I hear them.
No such place to relax. We have no shut down, a park is 5 minutes on foot away.
Hopping over to your other blog, maybe I find help there :-)
Let´s try to stay positive, right!

    1. I love it so much Iris! Thank you so much! Oh I know what you mean! I don;t know what's with kids nowadays and their screaming! Well I do remember when I was a kid I would also try to scream out of nowhere but my parents would scold me very much so I don't do it. But now, kids scream like it's a requirement to live haha!

Oh my, I can imagine how noisy it can get being so close to a park. Hope my post there would give you some peace my dear friend Iris :)

    2. I don´t hear the park, but the garden where they scream is right in front.
Screaming must be a world-wide problem these days! My parents gave me a reason to scream, if I did!

    3. Iris!!!! now I can't stop laughing! A world-wide problem HAHAHA You Bet!!! Maybe these kids have some telepathic thing going on that they recieve signals to start screaming all at the same time hahahaha!

  4. This is a worrying time for everyone for sure. That's why everyone needs a hobby, an interest outside of the daily routines and their demands. For me, my bird watching, ringing and photography makes for an almost full-time hobby and one that I can escape to in so many places, (including our garden) while becoming oblivious to the wider world and it's problems. Try not to be too overthinking, it's not good. Just chill my friend.

    1. Thank you so much my friend Phil! I will remember that and you are right, this Gardening makes me occupied yet relaxes me :)

Oh by the way, another thing that amazed me while I was on my garden earlier was a black bird that was flying. It is very uncommon to see other birds than sparrows on our city. I remembered you when I saw it and I thought oh if only Phil was here he'd know what that bird is. It was black but while it was flying it has two big white circles under its wings! It was beautiful!

  5. What a great job you accomplished. The area looks like a beautiful haven to spend some quality time in. Very peaceful and pleasant looking. I love plants and the bells are very nice to hear in a gentle wind. Have a wonderful time enjoying your new and improved place. All the best, stay safe, my friend.
