Face to Face to Face

Kalayaan, Kawit

Filipinos love Fastfood, I guess it's one big thing we got from the American culture that greatly affected our society since a century ago. In this junction in Kawit, you can see three signs that would welcome anybody driving by the Centennial road. Take your pick, McDonald's, Burger King, or the Filipino superchain - Jollibee.

For my non-Filipino blog friends, have you heard about Jollibee?

  2. Stevenson I didn't notice the fast food signs until I read your narrative - I focused on the church signs :) Shows my interests are not in the fast foods. No, I have not heard of Jolibee. I will ask my Philippine friends at church tomorrow if they are familiar with it.

  6. My daughter told me about the Jollibee when we visited the Philippines, but we didn't eat there.
But there are already Jollibee franchises in Sydney at least.

    1. Oh i hope you can try it when you visit here again haha Not sure if you'll like it but their fried chicken is so good! You are right, and hopefully there will be one in Perth too someday since there is a growing Filipino community there I think.

  7. You could be lots of places from this photo. I'd try the Jollibee just because we don't have that here in the US. Is it a burger chain also?
