Lenten Series Part II (Saint Nicodemus)

Saint Nicodemus was a pharisee during the time of Jesus Christ. Though he is a pharisee, he has always been in favour of our Lord Jesus Christ. Aside from accompanying Saint Joseph of Arimathea on gathering Jesus' body after He died on the cross, Saint Nicodemus was also mentioned in the Gospel of John that He once visited Jesus to listen to His teachings and also, when he stated the law about the arrest of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Statue of Saint Nicodemus that was used on the Good Friday Procession (as shown above) is owned by Ameer Olimpo, a native of General Trias, Cavite. Saint Nicodemus was third in line on the Procession after Saint Joseph of Arimathea. This was the First Good Friday Procession of Saint Nicodemus in the Town of General Trias.
