The most famous depiction of the Lamentation of Christ or the La Pieta is also part of most Good Friday Processions. It is the image of the Virgin Mary carrying the dead body of Jesus Christ.
A famous example of the image of La Pieta was done by the Great Italian Artist Michaelangelo that is located in the Saint Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City. According to Wikipedia, Michaelangelo's Pieta is different from all his works since it is the only one He signed after hearing some visitors having the thoughts that it was done by a competitor. Also, Michaelangelo's last work is another Pieta but this time, Jesus' body is not on Mary's cradle but on Joseph of Arimathea's
The La Pieta which is fourth in line in the Good Friday Procession is owned by the Familia Olimpo also from the Town of General Trias.
