General Trias Public Market
Now that the lockdown has been relaxed to allow the economy to regain its losses, the markets are now expecting more customers that those times in the ECQ (Enhanced Community Quarantine). With this, added precautions are imposed such as these plastic sheet barriers installed on the meat section to limit the airborne droplets from being exchanged.
Do you guys have the same extra safety precautions in place on leaner lockdows?
We have similar lock down situations ~ plexiglass separating cashiers from customers ~ we have to wear a mask in any store and in public if we can not keep a 6ft distance ~ Supermarkets and convenience stores are the only ones open right now ~ everything is closed ~ MA is a small area with a large population of people so it is difficult to protect everyone and everything ~

Hello Carol, I feel relieved that you guys also have the same plastic barriers on cashiers and salespeople that protects both sides and more to it, you guys still wear the masks that is very much a must. I am happy that social distancing is still practiced there because lately its not on the cities here as I see on TV and it's weakening to see people not following.
DeletePlease be safe there in Massachusetts Carol!
We have that here too. Plexiglass up everywhere. I wonder if it will stay up once Corona is just a bad dream. I am being really cautious going out so I am probably missing a lot of the ways we now socially isolate. And I want to say thanks so much for last comment. being a teacher is so rewarding, isn't it? I hope you get to teach again soon as it sounds like something you might have a calling for.
ReplyDeleteI very much pray and hope that we can look at these times soon like it was a bad dream. Oh Erika, that is super nice of you. I definitely think I do have the calling for it after I left for a few years but now I will prepare so when I get back to teaching, that's where I'll age :) Hope I can finish my masters soon and use it as a stepping stone to go back to teaching.
DeleteI hope these precautions really work...and they should help.
ReplyDeleteThat is very true Rose! It may look simple but I also believe this is a big help.
Delete...I have serious doubts that life will return to "normal" anytime soon!
ReplyDeleteI honestly think the same too Tom...
DeleteWe have those plastic sheets everywhere here now.
ReplyDeleteThe cash-out people wear extra-shields, too.
And then there is the man with his kid in a stroller... no mask.
A woman with bigger kid, no masks.
Do you have such idiots over there, too, Stevenson?
When I can keep a big distance I take the mask off, if not, UP-UP!
But, meat and cheese is behind glass here anyways, these shields are to protect the people.
Let´s stay safe and get it over and done with, we´ll live with Corinna like with the flu.
Like taxes it won´t go away!
Oh tell me more dear Iris! A lot of these here as well though still a lot do follow the masks but they do roam a lot even if I think is not needed! They kept going places like they all go together for a task that one family member can do by himself.
DeleteOh Yas! Like taxes, it does not go away. Like here earlier, a Senator kept opposing providing little help for the working middle class tellingm that middle class people have salaries. But what she fails to realize is a lot of them have no jobs due to companies closing. It hurts to be a taxpayer when you can;t get any help even the least while they live their luxurious lives (hopefully not using tax money).
Almost the same … plexiglass separating cashiers from customers in the supermarket, but in the market they have nothing …
ReplyDeleteI live in a small town and no one here was ill of coronavirus.
I think they do very well with that protection!
Enjoy your day, Steven!
It makes me very happy to hear when a certain place does not have a case and thank you Ella that gave me hope. Please stay safe and be at a certain distance as much as possible. Have an awesome rest of the week Ella :)
DeleteWe have kind of same situation with Face mask Compulsion, Had to wait in queue with 3ft distances, Everyone has to wear gloves and so on. . . You have a Nice and Safe Day. . . :)
ReplyDeletehello my friend Manav. Thank you for your greeting and we are the same with the face mask and so far people do follow the face mask but not the social distancing part sadly. happy Thursday my friend!
DeleteOur grocery stores have plexiglass separating cashiers from customers too. Banks only two people in at a time. Bus drivers have been wearing plastic shields that cover their face. Everyone got to stay safe. Have a wonderful day and stay safe.
ReplyDeletei just searched for plexiglass and that is something very helpful in this situation. Please stay safe my friend Bill and Happy Thursday!
DeleteWe definitely do have many precautions in place SQ, even though we haven't had any new cases for quite a while we still have to be careful oui ✨
