Celyn

Today marks the second month of the Enhanced Community Quaratine or 'Lockdown' as most of us call it here in the Philippines, 33 days ago last March 17th. During these times, we can only rely with our family members at home for daily conversations away from our gadgets, but for those like me who were lucky enough to have their fur babies at their side, it's a lot more bearable.

This is Celyn and she is our family dog. She loves crackers, sun bathing, and very long naps. She is now 7 years old in human years and she is still very beautiful. She's not a very lively dog because she is very classy and reserved but whenever I come home from a trip, especially last January when I got home from a 3 week trip to Europe, she went crazy and ran towards me and wagged her tail like it's gonna break.

Do you have pets at home? What's their name and what do they like?

    1. Thank you Bill! And they really don't leave us through death, they always stay with us and makes us happy especially when we get sad. I always thought that when we remember them, it's their signal that they remember us :)

  5. I've always loved the way our furry friends welcome us home. We had a cat once who would always always always come and welcome us home, whether we had been away for several days or just an hour or two. Her name was Smitten and her memory is very precious. Stay safe, Mxx

  6. Lovely dog :) I've almost always had cats in my life ever since I was a child, with the exception of 3 dogs we had after I got married. At the moment I have 3 cats - Fluffy, Shelley and Twiggy, which are 13 years old and are siblings.

    1. I love the names so much Sami! And knowing how they grew up together being siblings is so amazing because usually when our dogs give birth we only keep one and give all the siblings away :)

  7. "Amizade igual", nem de propósito, é o meu Tema de hoje. Pois, nunca mais tive Amigos assim.
Sempre, ao longo dos anos, tive cachorros.
Os últimos marcaram o meu final de vida. Num curto espaço de tempo, perdi-os. Uma, pela idade e dois outros com menos de cinco anos, partiram e tiraram-me a força para "aguentar" mais uma qualquer despedida assim.
A minha saudação para uma convivência possível em harmonia e vida.

    Abraço
    SOL

  13. Celyn does look rather "laid back" but then some dogs are like that. The oldest saying about "man's best friend" is so true, but I rather like - “The dog is a gentleman; I hope to go to his heaven not man’s.” – Mark Twain
