Afternoon Tea

Afternoon Tea, General Trias

So yesterday, it was a great and fun-filled day for me as I celebrate my 30th! I know that the quarantine has been greatly relaxed here so I asked four of my best friends to come over and they are all so gracious to be there and celebrate with me. Since our two other best friends are in other islands, and the other two are in France and Kuwait, they just video called so it's like we are all together again at that afternoon while they sip their own tea at their spot in the world.

So here's some savories and sweets I prepared for you all my blogging friends! What would you like from the tiered plates?

    1. Thank you so much dear Sami! I really did! Seeing my friends made my heart leap! Oh thank you! I would love to do that tea party thing again :) My friends are actually the one who placed those goodies on the rack (Ok they are my visitors but they prepped it for me because they are more artistic than I am HAHA)

  2. Is there something hearty, too? I´d take that then.
Now I´m the liar!!! I really bought apple pie, but... sweet tooth said "nahh, let me sleep!".
This weekend I´ll wake him up!!! Maybe.
Great you could see some friends for real!
Lille Corinna looked it up again - your country still has code orange for Germany.
But she gives you a Happy Birthday and a "hi!" :-)

    1. Oh I love Corinna's greeting, thank you so much dear Iris! Danke! Oh Apple Pie!!! My best friend who lives in Paris made an apple pie for the first time two days ago and it was super pretty! It has bare top but the apples are lined in a form that looks like a big rose! Have a slice of that apple pie for me please :)

  4. I knew you would have a super birthday SQ, lovely to celebrate with close friends, in person and virtually. I kind of like the look of everything on the cake tray, so I'm glad I don't really have to choose 😉 Do you feel any different now that you are 30?

    1. Wow that is an amazing question Grace! Hmmm I hav eto say I feel a lot of aches from here and there in my body that started a month ago which I think is because of aging! But still the same fun loving me so I would have to say I still feel the same, but happier because this year, I have more friends like you Grace!

  5. Happy Birthday my friend! It's a shame you could only share your birthday over the airwaves, but goodness, how technology has made such events almost real.

As for that tiered presentation, I will take one from each level so as to try everything. And they all look so delicious I'm betting you ate the lot?.
