Photo above shows Saint Veronica in her Good Friday feature holding the censer in front of the Saint Francis of Assisi Parish in the town of General Trias.
Saint Veronica is the fourth saint on my Lenten Series Special. Saint Veronica was not mentioned in the Gospels but she is believed to be the woman that gave her veil to Jesus Christ for Him to use to wipe His forehead. He accepted Veronica's Veil and miraculously, when Jesus gave it back to her, the image of His face was shown on the cloth. Her story is celebrated on the Sixth Station of the cross.
During the Holy Wednesday Procession, Veronica is shown holding the Cloth with the image of the face of Jesus Christ. But during the Good Friday Procession, she is featured holding a censer. She is Fifth in line on the Good Friday Procession and the image of Saint Veronica is owned by Choleng Deseo of General Trias, Cavite
