Maguro (Tuna) Sushi
Do you like Japanese Food? Cavite has a wide assortment of Japanese restaurants that serves usual favorites such as sushi, sashimi, katsu dishes, and so much more! This sushi dish is made with fresh and raw Tuna or Maguro in Japanese, and is served over small portions of rice. It is then enjoyed with traditional condiments like soy sauce, wasabi, and gari (pickled ginger). You can enjoy this dish at Tat Saku in general Trias, near the EPZA Export Processing Zone.

Hello my friend. And since you asked, the answer is "no", but then I have limited experience of sushi. You will know that here in England our National dishes are 1) fish and chips with mushy peas, and 2) the many variations on Chicken curry. So you will see that I do like fish and especially prawns, the bigger the better.
ReplyDeleteHello my friend Phil! Thank you so much for sharing about your national dishes and I never thought that chicken curry is also a staple in Britain :) Oh if you like Prawns, you will surely love the Japanese's tempura and some of the sushi with Prawns in it (The prawns on most sushis are cooked :))
Delete...thanks, put I'll pass!
ReplyDeleteHahaha Thank you Tom for your honesty. I love Japanese food but I'm not very crazy at the raw ones as well HAHA
DeleteI don't like Japanese Food …
ReplyDeleteI don't like seafood ... I can't even eat Paella if it's not made with chicken meat!
Ella! We are very much the same! I do eat fish but all others, no thank you hahaha Whenever my friends would gather they always consider me (thanks to their love and care) and order at least one dish without seafood in it HAHA
DeleteHello, the tuna looks delicious. But, I do not like raw fish, I do love it cooked. Enjoy your day, wishing you a great new week!
ReplyDeleteSame here Eileen! I'm not a big fan of raw fish but I do try time to time. Happy New Week to you too!
DeleteSushi sounds good to me. It's been a while! lol
ReplyDeleteSharing you a plate of it Michelle :) Hahaha Happy New Week!
DeleteNo sushi for me, but both of our daughters enjoys it.
ReplyDeleteMy niece also looves those raw ones too! I opt for the ones with cooked seafood on it.
DeleteSashimi is my favourite way to eat tuna, with it sliced very thinly. The canned stuff is horrendous. I love pickled ginger as well, but wasabi is a little on the hot side! Take care and stay safe :) xx
ReplyDeleteI can also it sashimi if it was sliced thinly, we are the same Margaret! I don;t know but the thick slices make me think I'm eating human flesh! Ughhh! Have a great new week Margaret!
DeleteLooks really yummy! Have a lovely day, stay safe and healthy ☺
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Natalia! Saving a plate of sushi for you! Stay safe too and happy new week!
Delete:-) Tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteNo, I sadly don´t like it. A friend took me to such a place, I chose chicken. But the rest tasted of fish so strongly, oh, it was hard to get it down! But I did!
And yes, I do know. Healthy!!! I blame it on my Dad I icannot take it ;-)
Enjoy yours, dear friend, it will do you good!
Hahaha great job on taking it down Iris! I had the same experience when I had dinner with my Chinese Family in Fuzhou, China. They offered me some sushi that had raw octopus on it. It wasn't that bad but still it looked scary to be honest but I took it down! I just really want with some shellfishes that another Aunt in Quanzhou, China was staring scarily at me and muttering words when she saw that I'm taking them to the plate's edge. I just really can't :(
DeleteThank you so much dear Iris! But yeah, if I had to choose between that raw fish and burgers and fries, I'll grab that Burger in a heartbeat!
Hummm gosto bastante da cozinha japonesa.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.

DeleteLove Japanese food. But not wasabi - too hot for me or ginger either. Enjoy it :)
ReplyDeleteSame here Sami, I can put a pinch of wasabi but more than that. it would smoke out my nose! hahaha Thanks Sami!
DeleteThat is my favourite sushi. Every time we do a grocery pickup we order some sushi as our treat when we get home. - Margy
ReplyDeleteYes! If I have to choose a favorite sushi, I love the ones with tamago on it (egg) and the California Maki Roll is also love :) Stay safe Margy!
DeleteLooks good in your photo, but it is not for me...
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Karl! Not very crazy over it as well HAHA.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much Erika! I am so happy I got you your favorite through this post :) Hugs my friend! happy Wednesday!
DeleteI love Japanese food. Rick cooks it quite often and I should remind him we haven't had some of the favorites in a long time!
ReplyDeleteLove it!!! It's hard to make Japanese foods at home, Rick sure knows his cooking skills, I love it! I love Ramen but I can't make one from scratch so I opt out to groceries but I can make some sushi rolls when I have ingredients :) Save me a seat when you have your Japanese Meal Jeanie :)
DeleteI love Japanese food SQ, but have to say I prefer my tuna and salmon cooked 😉
ReplyDeleteI would have to go with you on that one Grace! I can eat it raw (sometimes) but yeah, a little pan frying would be better :)
