S&R Pizza House, Kawit
S&R is the Philippine version of CostCo. It has big warehouse style stores in key locations around the Philippines and they are also famous for their pizza. With its great demand, they thought of opening stores that only sells their food items such as, of course, pizza, fries, pasta, salads, and more. For now, they only accept take out orders and pick-ups.
I took this shot earlier this afternoon. Yes, my dear friends, I was able to go beyond the gates of our house for the first time in 92 days! I was just inside my sister's car (who celebrated her birthday yesterday Sunday) the whole time since we only got things at a Chinese fastfood and Burger King via drive thru, but I tell you, my worries rose a lot. I just really hope our company will continue to allow us to work from home because this served as a trial for me and i confirmed I am still scared to go outside.
Have a great Monday to all of you my dearest friends, a great week awaits, let's claim it!
I don't blame you ~ they are finding the case numbers are going up after the 'openings' ~ still need to mask up and be safe ~ Hope you got some pizza !

That is super true Carol! And worse, everything here "Opened" at the very height of case numbers. So imagine how higher it is now ughhh!
DeleteThanks so much Carol!
I am still including you in my prayers. I hope you can still work from home...till you feel comfortable getting back out.
ReplyDeleteRose, I feel super grateful. You had me so thankful on that one. I really still need those prayers. Praying for you too dearest Rose, that is so nice of you!
Delete...stay safe my friend!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much my friend Tom! You too!
DeleteI can understand you unease Stevenson - we were in total lock down only 4 weeks, but even after that I did not venture out other than to visit family, for another two weeks. Now we are all but back to normal - I don't think I will ever take 'normal' for granted again.
ReplyDeleteStay safe
Blessings
Maxine
One can only dream dear Maxine, that the world is all New Zealand. We all look up to your country, the discipline of the citizens and the best governance! I hope I can equip myself sooner or later to this new normal.
DeleteDear Stevenson, please don't stop going outside. Even if it terrifies you, you need to keep doing it. If you stay indoors all the time you could easily become too reclusive and lose contact with what it means to be a whole human being. And you could become too scared to travel any more, and we would hate that to happen. Hugz Mxx
ReplyDeleteDearest Margaret you got me very emotional on your comment. Everything about what you said so right, thank you so much for the encouragement. I will do my best, taking times, to start going outside even just around our corner while distancing myself and wearing the mask. Thank you so much Margaret, that means so much to me, I really still want to travel again :(
DeleteI am so glad you will keep going out, and very sensible of you to keep taking personal precautions. You can do this :) xx
DeleteThank you so much dearest Margaret. I sure will. Would take baby steps (although just today, 3 new cases on our neighborhood has been reported. We are a very small neighborhood of just 300 people).
DeleteHmmmm, Pizza! I do crave that, oh, dear Stevenson, so sad you don´t trust in going outside.
ReplyDeleteIt´s important for your immune system, just keep a safe distance and roam around!
Here life gets back to normal, bit by bit. Restaurants open up. You have to give your (fake) address and keep a safe distance and that´s it. Not what we do, but we could...
Dear Iris that Fake Adress is so funny but yes, you are right, just as Margaret said, I'll be missing out a lot of my life if I don;t start having that courage to go out again.
DeleteStevenson Everyone is afraid even I of going out and this Corona Virus, Don't know how and what the future is bringing to us, Hoping all the best. . . You have a Nice and Safe Day. . .
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for those kind words Manav. It's just so crazy to think about and even if you don;t it will just get into your mind. Have a great new week too my friend Manav and stay safe!
DeleteHello, my friend Stevenson.
ReplyDeletePlease congratulate Happy Birtday for your sister, may she always be happy.
Don't be afraid to leave the house, friend.
We need to apply using a mask, bring a hand sanitizer and get away from the crowd immediately.
So nice of your greeting my friend Himawan! Thank you very much!
DeleteYou are right I should have to get the courage soon and be brave to go out time to time.
Happy belated birthday to your sister. Hope you enjoyed your pizza with your family.
ReplyDeleteYou should start to go out, otherwise the longer you stay indoors the more worried you will be when you can finally get out. Here restaurants, gyms, pools, library...have all reopened last week, although we still require distancing, but we never had to wear masks.
Thank you very much dearest Sami! You are right, I really should start going out little by little and just stay with the precautions. We still in bad need to wear masks though because the numbers are still grow in at ultimate high day by day
DeleteHappy happy belated birthday wishes to your sister SQ, I hope she enjoyed her birthday feast ✨ I have to admit I don't often crave pizza but when I do it's always a Marguerita 🍕
ReplyDeleteOh I do love Marguerita too! Simple and light but very flavorful! Thank so much for the wishes dear Grace!
DeleteIt’s a scary time, but a pizza treat is well deserved and relatively safe it sounds like. we also are still being more careful than a lot of others around us. I don’t think it’s over yet, that’s for sure.
ReplyDeleteThat's right Sallie, it's far from over and we still don't know if we even passed halfway. Please be safe dear Sallie!
DeleteHello, Happy belated birthday to your sister! I love pizza, one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteI hope you and your family had a nice visit. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!
Same here! I like it big but thin and chewy! It was agreat trip outside with my sister, thank you so much Eileen!
DeleteI know everyone is nervous here too. Little steps at first and protection, very important. Stay safe, my friend.
ReplyDeleteA big yes to that! Little steps is what I'll do soon. Thank you so much my friend Bill!
DeleteI understand your concerns. My daughter has been working from home during covid. Things are starting to "open up" here. She is dreading the day she has to go back to the office. I am retired, so I am at home most of the time. But...I do go out for an evening walk in the neighbourhood, and I always try to get out in nature.
ReplyDeleteOh I share the sentiments of your daughter Karen! I am always nervous as to when we will be required to go back though I am very hopeful that the company will understand that it is still not safe, and besides, we can do our work productively at home as it was in the office.
DeleteEvening walks are great Karen, it will make your heart and lungs healthier. Just stay away from crowds.
It was good to discover you are still nervous about that and hopefully can make that case to your office, especially if working from home has been going well for you and them. Rick makes pizza often but I haven't had store-pizza for a long while and kind of miss it!
ReplyDeleteOh Jeanie, will you and Rick please adopt me! Home-made pizzas and baguettes!!! Those are dreams for me! And you are right, i can say I do the same productivity at home as it is in the office or even more productive at home because I always start on time unlike when in the office I still have some preps to do whenever I arrive there.
DeleteAt least you managed to get out :-D I think a lot of people are afraid to venture out :-( The world has changed so much this year for sure.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your sister - your birthdays are very near each other! What age was she?
That is very true dear Ananka! A lot of change in a very drastic and fast pace!
DeleteThank you so much Ananka! You are right! She turned 31, and I turned 30 :)
I don't blame you. I go out but only on occasions when I must. And I always wear my mask (and sometimes gloves) unlike some people. It drive me crazy that they don't care about anyone else to be a little bit careful. Happy mid-week. I am slowly catching up.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you dear Erika. It's sad that there are people who can't seem to se ethe importance of those little efforts not just for themselves but for others too. Glad you are keeping safe :)
