Dragonfly, Amadeo
I may be a big guy but I honestly am afraid of bugs,
especially those with wings. But this one sure looks beautiful so I braved
myself and got my phone camera and took a shot of it. It was just resting there
and allowed me to take a photograph of her. Isn't she lovely?
Does anybody know
what type of Dragonfly this is?

...it's beautiful and unlike the dragonflies that we have here!
ReplyDeleteIt is so beautiful....I love to see and watch them.
ReplyDeleteThat is a good photo my friend. So good that a quick search online tells me it may be Red Percher Dragonfly, scientific name - Neurothemis Ramburii.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend and don’t be afraid of harmless little things.
Well, dear Stevenson, another thing we have in common ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnything with more than 4 legs creeps me out. I´m so glad Ingo did not tell me what a variety of insects lives in Australia, I might´ve stayed home!
Yet, we keep returning, it belongs to life, right.
The color is nice, the rest.... huhhh!
What a beautiful 'bug' Stevenson - she is certainly stunning in her red gown! Thank you for being brave and photographing her to share with us
ReplyDeleteStay safe
Blessings

Oh my gosh it's beautiful SQ, come on you can't be afraid of dragonflies 😉 now if we were talking creatures with eight legs, I would be running away much faster than you 😀

Great shot, I've never seen one like that before. Glad you had a moment of bravery to capture this photo. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a most amazing dragonfly. I've never seen one like it but it's just gorgeous. And well done with your photo. Seems like anytime I"m ready to shoot, the subject moves away! That color. WOW.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo :-D
ReplyDeleteI love little bugs and such - they don't scare me. Though in Scotland we haven't any deadly ones! Only problem is the midges - Scotland is famous for them during summer. They bite me like mad.
Amazing shot.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are okay...noticing that there have been no new blog posts. I hope you are just busy.
ReplyDeleteYes even I am scared of the ones with wings .this is beautiful tho
