Empty Restaurants

Charito's, Tagaytay City

It's sad to see empty restaurants during these times, especially those that you frequent and love being at like the one above which I love so much - food, ambiance, and the caldera view. Though you can see this facade is empty, the light is on because I took this pre-lockdown. It's empty not because of the enhanced community quarantine, but because we were there before it opened because we left home early and the drive to Tagaytay City usually takes an hour so yup, early birds we were.

Oh yes, one of my bosses from Rhode Island posted a photo on facebook that he is ordering some steak at the steakhouse from his car at the parking area. It looks cool though haha

  2. Great photo! Oklahoma USA is gradually opening up. Some restaurants are waiting a bit longer and some patrons (like my family) are also waiting a bit also.

  3. Hello, the restaurants here have carry-out, so some are doing business. It is sad to see any business empty or closed. Take care! Enjoy your day, have a happy new week ahead.

  5. You write to me in the comment left on my blog that you were in Amsterdam in December!I think you remember the Dam Square, how big it is ... imagine that tonight, only the king, the queen and 5-6 other people were at the commemoration! And this is terribly sad …
I think after the lockdown life will not be the same ... not even in restaurants!
Thank you for visiting! I'm your new follower # 93!

  8. That's a real shame that you can't get to visit a favourite restaurant and o enjoy the view. Our favourite fish and chip shop in Knott End village is closed for "the forseeable future". It's the little things in life that we miss. And the family of course.

  9. Hehe, early bird here, too, dear friend.
Yes, so sad to see them closed or only open for take-away.
It looks like a lovely place!
Certainly here, with the cold temps, only ohhh, already 7 C now! - most is not that open-spaced.

Soon, I bet, you can visit again, it must get better, right?

    1. You got that right, especially when you are just like me who goes to restaurants not just for the delicious food but for the overall experience.

Oh! I understand HAHA I remember sitting at the edge of a small bar in Paris, a day before New Years Eve. The front half of my body is warm with the bar's heater, but my back is freezing to death because they only have those plastic acrylic blinds to cover the front of the bar! Ughhh it was 3 degrees I think HAHA

Yes my dear friend, it must get better!
